Born on July 31, 1959,  N Valarmathi began her ISRO journey in 1984. Her dedication shone through as she played pivotal roles in various space missions. 

Her crowning achievement came as the project director for RISAT-1, India’s first indigenously developed Radar Imaging Satellite, launched successfully in April 2012.
