Hailing from Ahmedabad, he embarked on a special journey to Mumbai, aiming to secure the very first iPhone from India’s first Apple store in BKC Mumbai. He mentioned, “I’ve been here since yesterday at 3 pm. I’ve stood in line for 17 hours,” the man told ANI. “I’m here to buy the first iPhone from India’s first Apple store.” He also shared that he had reserved the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the striking white titanium finish, opting for the 256 GB model, along with the latest Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the new AirPods. When asked about his opinion of Apple as a brand, he wore a broad smile and simply stated, “It’s the best.”

 

Another enthusiastic customer named Vivek shared his journey, revealing that he had arrived at the Apple BKC store at 4 am with hopes of being the first to get his new iPhone 15 Pro. However, he found himself narrowly edged out by another customer already in the queue. Nevertheless, he expressed his excitement, saying, “But I’m delighted to be getting my new iPhone 15 Pro. I’ve been eagerly anticipating this moment all year.”

 

Meanwhile, in the capital city of Delhi, a customer named Rahul made history by becoming the first individual to purchase an iPhone 15 from the company’s Saket store. He recounted his experience, stating, “It was an incredible experience. I joined the queue at 4 am and finally acquired the phone. I’ve always owned top-of-the-line phones, including an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPhone 14 Pro Max. With the unveiling of the 15 series, I was determined to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I achieved that goal ahead of everyone else.”

 

The Apple iPhone 15 series had been available for pre-order in India since September 15, intensifying the excitement among Apple fans in the country. Today’s launch marked a significant milestone as India celebrated the opening of its first Apple stores, creating a memorable experience for tech enthusiasts nationwide.

 

An iPhone fan from Ahmedabad traveled to Mumbai and waited in line outside the Apple store at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for 17 hours just to buy the latest offering from the tech giant. The iPhone remains the most coveted phone for many people, even in India, where smartphones are becoming more affordable.

 

 “I’ve been here since 3 pm on Thursday. I waited in the queue for 17 hours to get the first iPhone at India’s first Apple store. I have come from Ahmedabad,” the man told news agency ANI.

 

Vivek from Bengaluru, another customer, said, “I’m excited to get my new iPhone 15 Pro.”

Long queues were spotted outside Apple’s retail stores in Delhi and Mumbai today ahead of the launch. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models are expected to be Apple’s best-selling products for the remainder of the year, and the company’s ability to meet the demand for these devices will be crucial to its success during the holiday season.

 

Apple’s new iPhone 15 lineup, consisting of four models, went on sale in India and approximately 40 other countries on Friday.
